Rebecca Cunningham is Associate Vice President for Health Sciences Research for the University of Michigan’s Office of Research, Professor for the University of Michigan’s Department of Emergency Medicine, and Professor in Health Behavior & Health Education, U-M School of Public Health. Dr. Cunningham is the Director of the CDC-funded University of Michigan Injury Prevention Center. She has a distinguished career in researching injury prevention, including the role of the health system and community in opioid overdose prevention with funding by NIDA, CDC and NIAAA for over 20 years. She recently served on the Michigan Governors commission for opioid overdose prevention.
